1. Information we collect and store

We store an anonymous ID generated on your device, the experience level selected during onboarding, mission and world progress, scores, attempts, XP, level, study streak and relevant timestamps. We also store mastery states by concept ID, last and next review dates, misconception tags and review candidates.

When you complete a mission, we may store the question ID and format, cognitive level, correctness, response time, hint level, use of the ‘I’m not sure’ option and confidence. We do not store the text you type in free-response or explanation questions. For data transfers, we store a non-reversible representation of the transfer code and its issue time.

2. Why we use this information

We use it to provide learning features, adapt mastery and review content, save and transfer progress, improve the service, investigate faults and prevent misuse. Registration with an email address or password is not required.

3. Storage and on-device data

Progress is stored in Cloudflare D1. The anonymous ID and temporary mission data are also stored in browser storage such as LocalStorage. Cloudflare may process access time, IP address, request details, browser and device information to deliver and secure the service and investigate faults.

4. Data transfers

A transfer code is valid for 24 hours and can be used once. It becomes invalid after use or expiry. Do not share it with anyone else.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain data until you delete it or the service ends. You can delete progress linked to your anonymous ID from My Profile. Deleted data cannot be restored.

6. Analytics and external transmission

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. Google LLC may receive identifiers such as cookies, pages viewed, referrer, time, browser, OS, device, approximate region and non-identifying event names. We do not send free-response text, your anonymous ID or transfer codes. Production analytics is disabled in QA environments.

7. Processors and disclosure

We do not disclose stored information to third parties unless required by law or with your consent. We may engage providers such as Cloudflare where necessary to operate the service. Loading the shared studio menu may send technical information such as the current page URL to mamemochi.app.

8. Access, correction and deletion

You can view and delete stored progress in the app. For other requests available under applicable law, including access, correction, restriction or deletion, contact us through the studio contact form.

9. Operator, changes and contact

The service is operated by SUKOSHI NANAME STUDIO. Operator details required by law will be supplied in accordance with applicable law when requested. We may update this policy as the service or relevant rules change and will announce material changes in the service.
